Penguins Around The World Video

Greetings Penguins,

Happy77 here. We had an idea to make a video out of all the amazing photos you've sent in. Since Rockhopper's here for the Island Adventure Party, we thought we should make one with pictures of him. Look at all the places he's been!

What do you think? :)

I'd like to make another video like this with your pictures of Gary the Gadget Guy or Herbert next. But we need your pictures to make it happen! Send in your pictures by clicking here.

Until then... Waddle On!

Crab Game at the Hidden Lake

There is a NEW Crab Game at the Hidden Lake. First you need to buy the Blue Crab outfit and wear it in order to play the game.

All you have to do is watch the colors and click the color the crab wants. When you are done you will get the Comanders Coat!

Adventure Party Cheats For Rockhopper`s Missing Cream Soda 2011

Sorry this is late.

First go to the Town or Plaza and click the riped letter.

Then you need to go to the Pizza Parlor and click the note that has pizza sauce and it should look like this.

As the letter says head to the Migrator.

Once you click the note in the Migrator you will get a free Eye Patch Pin. Take it and set sail for the Iceberg. You have to throw about three snowballs onto the shadow on the bottom left corner and it will spit out a letter and a Telesope Pin. Click it and go to the Dock.

This time you need to build a boat. Once you have built the boat a cannon will shoot out a letter/note and a Golden Feather Pin. Click the letter/note and pin and you will receive a Golden Feather Pin. Then head to the Tree Forts in the Forest.

You need to mimic the birds by clicking the drums of their color when they chirp. When you are done a egg will hatch and a map will pop out. You will receive a Key Pin. Click the red X on the map and it will take you to the Cove.

You have to drill on the BIG red X. Once you have drilled a hole then the Cream Soda will pop out with a treasure cheast and it will open, click it and you get a free hat.

Then a letter will pop up that is just a little thanks from Rockhopper. Once you are done that... YOU ARE DONE!!!

How To Use Beta Team

First, go to one of the blog posts (What`s New) and find the hidden word which is team. Or you can access the posts from my web. You can only find it on some of the posts so look hard. Once you find it click it! It SHOULD bring to to a page that says BETA TEAM ACCESS ONLY then enter your penguin name and password. Then it should bring you to a page that scans your penguin account, at the top type in the word "help" and press the enter key on your keyboard. Next you should came to a page that says:

Ls: Lists all the games
Play (game name): Opens the game and its description.
eg. play robots.
Rate (y/n): Rates how much you like the game - Type "Rate y" if you like it type "rate n" if you don`t.
Comment (User comment): Submits a comment about the game.
Clear: Clears the screen.
Logout: Logs you out.

I would type "Ls". So I can see all the games. Click them and play them! After you are done do the rating, commenting and log out!

Reviewed by You: Island Adventure!

Hello Penguins!

Last week, we asked you about your adventures with your friends in Club Penguin. Our team was absolutely thrilled with your stories! Here's what Lily2722 told us:

My favorite adventure was way back in March, The Expedition party, when we were lost in the forest, but to my surprise, once you finished the leafy maze and fixed the contraption, we sailed across a lake and came to the Brown puffle's hidden cave! This was definitely my favorite party!

Totally, Lily2722. Finding the brown puffle was definitely something to remember!

blog_110722.jpgSpeaking of parties... The Island Adventure Party is here! So this week, we'd like to hear your stories about pirates, mermaids, castaways...What is your favorite part of the party?

Write your review as a short comment (50-75 words, please!) We'll pick one comment to feature in next week's Reviewed By You. If your review is featured next week, we'll add 10,000 coins to your account. Don't forget to use your penguin name so we can add the coins!

Until then... Waddle on!

Questions This Week

Hello Penguins!

Each week we get asked all kinds of different questions. Here are 3 questions we've heard lately:

How do I edit furniture in my igloo?

Why am I stuck at a blue, black or white screen?

  • Try clearing the cache on your web browser to get the latest files. You may have to do this a couple times. Here's how: http://support.clubpenguin.com/help/technical/clear_my_cache.htm
  • It's worth clearing your cache every week. You might run into problems less often by using free browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Make sure you ask for permission before you install anything.

Is Rockhopper coming to the Adventure Party?

  • Check the telescope at the top of the Lighthouse for a hint...

Did you find this post helpful?  Are there other questions you've always wanted answered?  Let us know in the comments below.

Until then... Waddle On!

Beta Team Update

Hello Penguins!

Remember when we mentioned Beta Team a few posts ago? We've added some new prototypes to the site for you game testers!

If you haven't come across the Beta testing site yet, click here... Here are some things to remember while testing:

  • The only way to log onto Beta Team is by finding a hidden link on the blog...
  • Only a certain number of penguins can test at the same time
  • There's a 10 minute timer on the site at the moment, so you may get disconnected while playing some of the rough prototypes
  • There will be bugs, because it's a test site!

Thanks for testing... Let us know which Beta Team game has been your favorite, and what you'd like to see more of in the comments below.

Until next time...Waddle on!

Someone who has been helpful to me has been one of my good friends Jennatlc. She showed me around Club Penguin and she helped me with quests along the way! We have done everything together and she is supportive to other people and follows all of the rules! Plus, she loves to help people with pins and stamps! I hope she gets the 10,000 coins because I think she did a great job! Waddle on Cp!

Thanks for your review, Jellybug2000... and thanks to Jennatlc for being a great friend! Helpful friends make Club Penguin better for everybody.

Hello Penguins!

We're continuing to work on a bunch of new things for you. Here's another behind the scenes look at what we've been doing this week:

New igloo items - We're just about finished work on the latest items for your igloo. Now's a great time to start saving up your coins for some new items!

Online celebrations - We've seen a ton of great parties happening all over the island. Happy77 and the team filmed some of the action, and made a music video out of it! Check out this official music video for "Better Days," the Penguin Band's new theme song:

Bug squashing - We're working on a fix for the orange penguin that's appearing for some of you when you log in. We'll have this fixed in the next few weeks after we've finished these first system updates. Thanks for your patience.

Beta Team game testing - Many of you have already heard about Beta Team, where you can beta test new content we're working on. We're going to release some brand new game prototypes on Beta Team this weekend, so stay tuned!

As always, let us know if you have any questions in the comments. We're here to help!

Reviewed by You: Helpful Friends

Hello Penguins!

In our last Reviewed by You post, we asked about your first memory of Club Penguin. You said you were excited to meet new friends, discover games, and adopt a puffle for the first time. Many of you received warm welcomes from other friendly penguins that helped you.

Erica777 said:

Hey CP i'm so glad you asked that question. The first time I logged into Club Penguin I was very young. I remember standing in the town just wondering where I should waddle off to first. Suddenly a bright blue penguin waddled up to me and said "hey you new here". I shyly said yeah how did you know. She said I looked confused. I asked where you can get the best refreshments. The blue penguin grinned and said "thats easy it's the coffee shop. When I walked into the coffee shop I knew by all the friendly faces and different people that I was perfectly safe on my new favourite site Club Penguin :D.
P.S. I want to thank BlueJunieB for being the first to add me as a buddy. YOU ROCK

Thanks for sharing your story, Erica777!

blog_110705.jpgThis week, we want to talk about helpful friends like BlueJunieB. Tell us about someone that's been helpful to you, and why you think they should be featured on the blog. Make sure you're nominating someone other than yourself.

Send us your short review as a comment (50-75 words, please!) We'll pick one comment to feature in next week's Reviewed By You. If your review is chosen next week, we'll give the penguin you nominated 10,000 coins as a gift!

Info About New Memberships

Hello Penguins,

For the first time since Club Penguin started, we've decided to change the price of new memberships purchased in US and Canada. Starting on July 13th, the new price for a Club Penguin membership will be $7.95 a month, $39.95 for 6 months and $59.95 for 12 months.

The new price is only for NEW membership purchases. If you already have a recurring membership, you'll keep paying the old price as long as you stay a member. You'll also be able to use membership cards with the old price if you have them.

Ever since we launched Club Penguin, we've released tons of new games, features and special events, and donated millions of dollars to charitable projects to help kids around the globe. The new price will allow us to create even more great content that will make Club Penguin even better. We can't say too much yet, but we have some really exciting new things planned for you in the coming months!
