Developer Update!

Hello Penguins!

Here's an update on what we've been working on this week. We want to let you know a little bit about what we're doing here behind the scenes.

Adventure Party this month - We're putting the finishing touches on this month's event... the Adventure Party! I won't say too much just yet, but I hear a certain pirate may be making an appearance...

Clothing catalog and newspaper - We're doing some updates to our systems for the next few weeks, so the newspaper and this month's clothing catalog will be launching early next week instead of today. Don't worry, we'll let you know as soon as they're ready. Here's a sneak peek of the catalog:


New free items - We're still sending out the two new items to everybody. It will take a few days for the new Red Hat or Blue Cloud background items to get to everyone's accounts.  

Bugs squashed - We squashed a bunch of bugs last night, so you can play Card-Jitsu again. We also fixed a couple issues with DJ3K that were causing Flash Player to freeze. Thanks for letting us know about them and helping us make Club Penguin better for everyone! 

New games - We've been working on a few new game prototypes. Thanks to those of you that beta tested Rollerscape and some of the other prototypes. You guys had some great feedback! We should have some new games up on the Beta Team site very soon.

Music Jam Special Announcement!

Hello Penguins!

Thanks to you guys, Music Jam has been awesome this year! It's cool to see so many of you dancing the robot and starting up your own bands.

We heard a lot of you don't want the party to end... You asked... and we've listened!



Guess what... We're extending Music Jam for you! Now EVERYONE can party for an extra week!

Sneak Peek: New Map!

Greetings Penguins!

Happy77 here. Earlier, Billybob promised that we'd give you a sneak peek, so here it is! :)

I've heard that a few of you want a quicker way to get to your favorite games and areas. The team's been working on that for you! I wanted to make sure you were the first to see this:



The new map will give you more quick shortcuts and ways to get around the island. The team's getting ready to release it tomorrow! I'm stoked to get to the Dojo quicker. What's your favorite part of the improved map? Send me a comment and let me know!

Welcome to New Friends!

Hello Penguins!

This week, we're celebrating our favorite first memories of Club Penguin by welcoming new friends to the island!

We've heard that many of you wished you had items when you were new to the island. Guess what? To start the celebration, every new player will receive two items -- a new background and new hat! Check it out:

We'll also be giving these items to EVERYONE! If you already have a penguin, you'll get these two new items added to your inventory as part of the celebration! What do you think?

New: Save Your Own DJ3K Music!

Hello Penguins!

We're excited to let you know that the team launched a new update to DJ3K today. If you're a member, you can save your own DJ3K music mixes! Then once you're finished your mix, you can play it for everyone in your igloo!

Wow, time has passed. the first time I logged on was during the music jam 2010 and I really enjoyed it! my fondest memory was probaly when my neighbor Houpla 1 helped me through club penguin for the first time. I am turning a year old on cp tomorrow and I`m really excited. Club Penguin is my favourite thing and I`m glad you asked this question. WADDLE ON CP!!

Club Penguin Domain Name Update

Update

Hello Penguins!


UPDATE: Club Penguin is available for most players again. But we have heard that some of you can't see it yet. Thanks for letting us know. The team is still working on fixing any issues with the site. Thanks for your continued patience with this.

As some of you heard, Club Penguin's domain name (clubpenguin.com) had a technical glitch this weekend. The technical glitch has been fixed, but it will take some time for the site to appear as it should around the world.

Remember -- when in doubt, talk to a parent or guardian if something looks suspicious to you.

Club Penguin is back!

YAY!! Club Penguin is back! But I don`t thinkl there is a gift for waiting because I didn`t get one when I logged on.

Club Penguin is DOWN!!!!

Club Penguin is down because apparently their domain has expired... Club Penguin should be back up soon but not for sure.
 

Also as Club Penguin is down I am guessing they will give you a reward for waiting and missing the Music Jam if it goes over and all you Music Jammers who missed the Penguin Band and DJ Cadence they might give you a free background or something to make you feel better. Now if any of you have something to say comment ASAP and I promise I will help you with it... Thats what I`m for.

Herbert attacks the EPF!

What is Herbert up to now he has attacked the EPF and re-built the Hydra Drgons from the medeival party and he has made a couple changes... But the good thing about it is that once you defeat Herbert you get free furniture and a pin. Also THREE medals!!!!
So this is how you do it...
If it's a yellow dragon first you take out your golden shield from the medeival party and go to the squares where it's yellow and the light will flash back at it and weaken it.
I it's a blue dragon then you throw snowballs at the pot full of lava at the top and it will dump the lava on the dragon. Be aware of the squares where the blue light is because it will freeze you.
If it's a red dragon then you throw snowballs at it. If you re standing in one of the red squares where the light is the dragon will fire fire at you and clubpenguin will exit you from the game.
